Abraham Briggs Jr.

Abraham Briggs Jr. is a distinguished professional with over 20 years of service as an Army Staff Sergeant (E-6) and a track record of leadership, integrity, and compassion.  A graduate of Huntington High School, he holds an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Thomas Nelson Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy University.  Abraham’s unwavering dedication to excellence has characterized his career, both in his military service and in his civilian roles.

During his military career, Abraham served in critical positions including Unit Clerk, Personnel Sergeant, and P.A.C. Supervisor (Personnel Administration Center). In these roles, he was responsible for troop accountability, promotion monitoring, leave management, and personnel actions. His meticulous attention to detail and dedication made him a trusted finance liaison for soldiers, ensuring their financial and administrative needs were managed precisely and carefully.

After retiring from the military, Abraham continued serving as a Human Resources Assistant at Cadet Command, R.O.T.C., at Fort Monroe. In this role, he oversaw the transition of Cadets to commissioned officers, providing key support in assignment processing, branch decisions, and travel guidance.  He specialized in managing transitions for the nursing, chemical, and engineering branches, establishing himself as a reliable point of contact between Cadets and the US Army Personnel Center.

As the owner and manager of D.A.P. Properties LLC, Abraham applies his leadership and business expertise to successful property management. His ability to navigate complex challenges with a balanced perspective and his commitment to treating everyone with respect make him a trusted and admired leader in both business and community.

Abraham is known for his thoughtful, compassionate leadership and ability to view situations from multiple perspectives.
